A family doctor allegedly  unzipped his trousers and offered to have sex with a woman patient on his desk.

Mohammad Ihsan, 35, had only just got married when he propositioned the unnamed woman, a medical tribunal heard.

The GP allegedly put his crotch in the face of the shocked woman and also kissed her on the lips, saying: "Having lots of sex makes you healthy".

The patient was said to have felt ‘glued to her chair' as Ihsan smiled at her, it is claimed. He then told her she had ‘lovely skin' and touched her cheek, the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service hearing was told.

The patient eventually fled when he asked to look at her bottom and later reported him to the practice manager.

The alleged incident occurred in 2016 when the woman attended Dr Singh and Partners Health Centre in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, for a review about her contraception.
Ihsan, from nearby Huddersfield, had been working as a locum at the surgery since 2015.
